This poem beautifully expresses the conflicting emotions of love, desire, and fear.

Sometimes I pray that he is mine alone,

Sometimes I fear that he is not separated from me.

Sometimes I pray that he finds all the joys of the world,
Sometimes I fear that he is happy without me.

Sometimes I wish to dwell in his gaze,
Sometimes I fear that someone has not seen his eyes.

Sometimes I desire that the world waits for him,
Sometimes I worry that he has not met anyone else.

Sometimes I wish that he gets whatever he asks for,
Sometimes I have doubts that he hasn’t asked for anything but me...
